Questions, answered
Short answers to what people ask before their first order.
App and web sign-ups are what these numbers are for. Nigerian bank OTPs are not: they do not arrive on virtual ranges at all. That is a property of the ranges themselves rather than of any one seller, so if the code you are waiting for comes from a Nigerian bank, this is not the product for it. Some apps also refuse virtual numbers. If yours does and no code arrives, the hold is released like it is for any other order.
No. Money in your wallet is for orders, and it never goes back to where it came from. When an order returns money, it returns it to your wallet.
The hold is released and the money is back in your wallet without you asking. There is nothing to claim and no form to fill in. The order screen shows what came back and offers the same pair again in one tap.
Cancel this number on the order screen, then order a fresh number.
It is yours for the length of the order, and the countdown on the order screen is that window drawn out. When the order ends the number is released and somebody else may be given it. Treat every number as single use: never attach one to an account you intend to keep.
Top up your wallet in naira by bank transfer. The wallet shows the fee and the amount to send before you send anything. Send that amount in one transfer and the amount you chose lands in your wallet.
The message sent to your number during your order, which is the one you see on the order screen. Nothing else reaches us. The number is not ours to watch outside an order, so there is no other traffic on it for us to hold. Its full text is deleted after 7 days and the extracted code after 90 days.
Your next code is a few taps away.
Pick the app and the country. ClaveSMS handles the number.
